If he was NHL material, some team would have given him a shot by now. Same thing for Brendan Reid. They may have an NHL shot or NHL skating ability, but in terms of complete player, they just weren't NHL players.
DEL is a fine pro league to. JK can make a nice living there, and have a comfortable nest egg after he finishes his career there. He'll probably make more then most CFL players do.
